Our next Revision Sprint will be held over two weekends,
May 4-6 and May 12-13, 2018.
Course size will be limited to 15 students.

Revising doesn't have to be overwhelming, scary, or
nerve-racking...it's where the GOOD stuff happens.

Utilizing Jennie Nash's Four Perspectives Theory of Revising and the Stoplight Strategy you will gain the skills to properly self-edit your novel so you can feel confident about moving forward with it.

This two-weekend intensive workshop includes:

  • Pre-workshop assignments and lectures to prepare your mind and your manuscript for the sprint
  • Deep dive lessons on how to perform a Manuscript Audit and hands-on revision practice on your first three chapters
  • Development of an actionable plan to complete your full manuscript revision
  • 6 live working sessions
  • 2 opportunities to get personal live feedback on your manuscript straight from Jennie Nash
  • Access to reusable worksheets to use on future manuscripts

Join us May 4-6 and May 12-13, 2018!
(See the schedule below.)

You get immediate access to 3 lessons to help prepare you for the Sprint when you enroll.

When: May 4-6 and May 12 and 13, 2018

Plan to set aside two whole weekends. This is going to be like being in a writing workshop except you'll never leave home. But you need to bring the same mental energy, sense of commitment, and purpose to this course as you would any other.

If you must miss any of the live events or writing blocks, but can still make the Sprint work, that's fine. We will record the live events and provide those recordings to you in the classroom. Note, however, that the whole point is to invest in your success – to set aside the time and make the intention to start your book off right this time.

The goal of the Revision Sprint Weekend is to gain the skills needed to successfully revise your novel so you can feel confident about sending it out in the world.

You will not edit your entire manuscript over the weekend. That would be heroic! You will learn HOW to revise – the theory and the practice – and will work through THREE chapters of your manuscript with guidance from Jennie.
