join us on december 8, 2018, for our How to Revise a Novel course!

Revising doesn't have to be overwhelming, scary, or
nerve-racking ... it's where the GOOD stuff happens.

Utilizing Jennie Nash’s step-by-step revision project plan, you will practice your self-editing skills on one chapter of your novel so you can feel confident about moving forward with the whole thing.

This course includes:

  • A 90-minute live video lesson taught by Jennie Nash (includes a Q&A session — ask anything you want!)

  • Deep-dive lessons on how to prepare for and perform a Chapter Audit and a Manuscript Audit

  • Hands-on revision practice using one chapter from your work-in-progress

  • Three hours of bonus videos, including Jennie’s Four Perspectives Theory of Revising presentation, and two “behind the scenes” interviews with writers who have taken this course

  • Tools to help you create an actionable plan to complete your full manuscript revision

  • Reusable worksheets to use on future manuscripts

The Course Curriculum

Learn how to revise
from Jennie Nash

The goal of our How to Revise a Novel course is to gain the skills needed to successfully revise your novel so you can feel confident about sending it out into the world.

You will not edit your entire manuscript during this course. That would be heroic! You will learn HOW to revise – the theory and the practice – and will work through one chapter of your manuscript.

Jennie Nash asks writer Kacey Vanderkarr about her Revision Sprint experience

Update!

In April 2018, Kacey Vanderkarr signed with Ali Herring at Spencerhill Associates.

Read about Kacey's journey on her web site.

I loved the live sessions of the class. I think the process was clearly explained and it’s effective. It’s not one I’ve used before so I learned something new.”
