Author Accelerator offers a full seven-day money-back guarantee on our book coaching services from the start of the selected service. If you are not satisfied – for whatever reason – you may ask for your money back and it will be immediately refunded. After this seven-day period, no refunds will be given.
Author Accelerator offers highly structured programs that are not right for all writers. Consequently, we reserve the right to refuse service to any prospective or existing customer. If you are not complying with our Author's Etiquette, you will be given ONE warning before being removed from the program. Writers who are removed will be refunded a prorated amount of the cost of the program based on the time elapsed. For example, if a customer is enrolled in a ten-week program and is removed after five weeks, 50% of the payment will be refunded minus the administrative fee.
If you wish to take a break from our services, we can accommodate that for you. It is our policy that a break must occur at one-month intervals. I.E. If you wish to take a break in the month of September, it must be for a full month/30 day cycle and there are no “saving weeks.” So if you’re two weeks into your monthly cycle and wish to take a break, you cannot “save” or “hold onto” the two remaining weeks.
We offer a 30-day cancellation window. This means that within the first 30 days, you can cancel your participation in our Manuscript Accelerator program.
If you’ve paid upfront, you’ll receive a prorated refund (we will retain the cost of the first month and a $300 admin fee).
If you have chosen to pay in monthly installments, you will be released from your payment commitment for the remaining 5 months, however, we will retain the cost of the first month and a $300 admin fee that will be charged to your account upon confirmation of cancellation.

We invest a lot of time and resources in your success even before you start. We expect you to bring the same level of commitment to this work. We have found that the biggest reason writers do not finish their manuscripts is because they fail to show up for themselves -- there is always a reason or an excuse for why they can’t commit. Our goal is to help you finish, which is why this program is structured the way it is. It’s very intentional. That’s why we do not honor membership cancellations after the first 30 days.

Due to the nature of our self-paced workshops - there is a three-day money-back guarantee. After this three-day period, no refunds will be given.
We offer a 14-day refund policy on our extended workshops. You may request a refund for up to 14 days after you begin the course.
To be eligible for a refund, you must submit your request to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your completed work for the first two modules before your 14th day in the program.
We will also check to see that you have watched the available course videos.
No refunds will be provided after 14 days following the start of the course. All refunds are discretionary, and eligibility is determined only after all requested items are submitted to our support team.
If you opted for a payment plan and you do not request a refund by the end of the 14th day, you are required to complete the remaining payments of your payment plan according to our 1 payment per month schedule.
Deciding after you purchase that you can't afford payments or deem the program too intense or just don't want to do the course anymore does NOT qualify you for a refund. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure you are 100% ready to take our courses.
This refund policy is designed to give you 14 days to try our system, get acquainted, and learn. If you do the work, put in your best effort, and feel that we haven’t delivered on our promise, we will issue a 100% refund.
We ask for the above evidence as we only want students who are willing to be present in the course and actually do the work. If you decide to cancel within 30-days of the start of the retreat, there are no refunds given, as it is unlikely that, due to the nature of the in-person retreats- we will be able to fill your seat.
If you find yourself needing to cancel in the window between, Author Accelerator will grant a 50% refund.
